Located on the coast of San Diego, California, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club first opened as a private yacht and beach club in 1927. But after F.W. Kellogg purchased the land in 1935, he expanded the facility to include tennis courts, a swimming pool, and the Beach Club Apartments.
And so, he transformed the club into a premier oceanfront tennis resort and set the foundation for its future.
Today, the Kellogg family still owns and operates La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, upholding a 90-year legacy of recreation and luxury.
Over time, the club has grown into an award-winning, multi-million dollar facility featuring 200 hotel rooms, 13 tennis courts, 5 pickleball courts, several restaurants, and a vibrant community of over 6,000 active members.
For years, the club managed court reservations with spreadsheets and in-person sign-up boards. Then, members began requesting mobile access to club offerings – leading the directors to try several club management platforms.
